Is Siena Farms' produce ORGANICALLY GROWN?

All of Siena Farms produce is grown using traditionally sustainable farming practices; free of chemical herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and fertilizers. For soil fertility we use natural composted animal manures and plant matter, plus bagged organic fertilizer which supplies valuable macro- and micronutrients to the farm's soil.

We have chosen to forgo the USDA's Organic Certification process but we invite you to trust us that our produce is every bit as healthy and natural as certified organic produce - healthier, in fact, because of the priority we place on FRESHNESS.

All of our produce is harvested within 24 hours of its sale - and much of it the morning of. It's cleaned impeccably with the farm's own crystal clean well water, and refrigerated until it arrives still alive to your hands.

This freshness makes all the difference in flavor, nutrition, and keeping quality. And with our crop varietal selections and harvest techniques guided by some of the region's top chefs, we aspire for our produce to be the very best you've ever had.
